Economic crisis is not the cause of business collapse

Many businesses today have been brought down not only by the global recession but also by mismanagement. It is not in order to assume that the global economic crisis should only be working against your business. Many managers who are failing today are blaming the bad economic conditions for their poor performance. A good business manager should be able to look for effective ways of handling a bad situation and getting the best out of it.

One of the most deceiving business ideas is that by putting your eggs indifferent baskets, you are going to be successful. Most of the managerial trainings include what is commonly called ‘portfolio management’. This theory supports the idea of investment diversification. This is why managers think that during bad financial moments for the business, they need to diversify their investments in order to reduce the risk of losses. This may not be a solution if the management style is wrong. A poor manager will still fail even in a diversified portfolio.

Many are left wondering about what they should do if diversification is not working. The truth is that diversification should only be left for those who are not sure of making it in one line. Instead of diversifying your investments, you should be thinking of specialization.

You should be looking for the best business strategies that can make you a king in your line of operation. Unfortunately, many business managers view success as only retaining some profits for the business. Very few people are endeavoring to be the most outstanding businessmen.

Dealing with marriage crisis

A marriage is not a bed of roses and even if it were, roses also have thorns. Getting into a marriage with a mind-set that you will not get any trouble can only be termed as suicidal. In fact, marriage is just the beginning of problem. But we can not run away from problems and crisis. We have the responsibility to ensure that ensure that the things that happen to us are beneficial and avoid being victims of circumstances. How can this be done?

Majority of marriage problems may be bigger in scope than you can ever imagine. What you are seeing as the problem may not be the actual problem and so you need to adjust your mind early and get to the root cause. This means that you need to go into the problem having already set to handle the worst.

There are no secrets in this world and both parties to the marriage must be ready to disclose all the material facts. This means that everyone must have the willingness to solve the problem by getting into its root cause. Be informed that if you try to suppress any information during a crisis, it will eventually be disseminated and the other party will see it as lack of faithfulness.

Most crisis end officially with the settlement of some kind and this must be accompanied by a sacrifice from one or both parties. After the crisis come the clean up, clean up means change and often accompanied by promises.

Office affairs- boss and subordinate dangerous love affair.

Nothing is so attractive to a male boss than a confident lady with an unwavering self esteem. It is said that men love challenges and the truth is that they will be trying their best to win that tough lady. You may be rich, well educated, driving the latest car and so on but confidence is what gives an icing to the cake. Every man will feel privileged to have a lady that was hard to win around him.

Just like a family, work place relationships are a part of every office and they come in all designs, patterns, and strategies and of course intensities. But I must admit that love affairs are not encouraged in most offices and mainly occur due to a lapse in the human resource department. The extreme happens when boss is eyeing one of the new subordinates. From experience, I have discovered that the bosses always want to date somebody new in the office and have no business with the old colleagues. This should sound an alarm to the new comer. Know that your boss had another lover before you came in.

Anyway, you should not just dismiss everybody who is showing some interest in you. But be careful about the people who are almost dating you on your first day in office. Every serious man will pay the price for it, even if it takes two years. To avoid the disappointments of having to deal with broken relationships hangovers, it is better to date outside your office.

Office affairs: dealing with the crisis.

You are new in an office and wondering how to go about the normal office operations. This is compounded by your new workmates who are intently gazing at you. You begin wondering whether it is your dress, make-up or hairstyle. You also notice a lady who appears to be gossiping behind your back. Looking around, you realize that your colleagues are taking in pairs, including your boss. Should you look for someone to talk to?

For every newcomer in an office, the line between office issues and other social issues is often unclear. Many people feel open in social gatherings but in those where colleagues are present, it is usually business, everyone trying to avoid any unwelcoming move by a workmate. This works most times because at work, many people view you as a professional.

One of the greatest risks of having an affair in the office is that something negative will always come out of it. Remember that any relationship is capable of affecting your career. A colleague today may end up being your bosses in the next few months or years. It may not work well if you had something that did work out between you. He or she might as well remember how you treated him or her. However, this does not mean that you should be strict, turning down every conversation that comes your way. You just need to learn that being a good friend to all without necessary promising anyone anything is a sure way of being part of the office. On the other hand, remember that there are relationships that have succeeded.
